Danny is a writer and author.  In his new book “I Will Praise You in the Storm: The Story of Stephen and Holly Deaubé, a Journey of Faith” (published by WestBow Press) author Danny L. Deaubé chronicles the challenges of raising children with terminal illnesses.

 “I Will Praise You in the Storm” is about one family’s struggle with two children born with a fatal liver disease and their ultimate goal to keep them healthy for a possible liver transplant in the near future. The book describes their journey of faith and gives hope through trials, suffering and death.

 Danny and his wife, Bonnie, are the parents of four children: Donald, Stephen, Holly and Dustin, and four grandchildren. Danny enjoys retirement, the great outdoors, working with his hands and writing. Danny and Bonnie were born and raised in Long Beach, California.  They  raised their children in Lakewood for thirty-five years. He retired after thirty years as a bricklayer and moved to Oregon in 2007. Danny resides with his wife in Monroe, Oregon, and they are active members at First Baptist Church, Junction City, Oregon.
